Neuroscience: the science of the brain
Understanding how the brain works is the last
great frontier of modern medicine. Behavioural neuroscience is a
cutting-edge biomedical discipline that explores how brain function
influences behaviour and cognition.
The Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience is a
specialized undergraduate degree that provides a unique opportunity
to study three core disciplines in the one degree: behavioural
neuroscience, psychology and biomedical sciences.
Our students benefit from being part of a
focused student cohort who will work closely with renowned
academics, clinicians and researchers in the field. As part
of their undergraduate training students visit hospital and
interview patients with neurological disorders; further study
opportunities exist at both honours and doctoral levels.
