Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary)
The full-time, year-long Graduate Diploma of
Education (Secondary) is one of the Faculty's core pre-service
teacher education programs, preparing graduates for teaching in
secondary schools.
Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary)
November start date allows you to join the
workforce 6 months before other teaching graduates complete their
programs. Program: November to June (1 academic year).
Scholarship Scheme -
Successful candidates with good academic achievements may be
eligible for a AUD$5000 annual Deakin International
Scholarship
Global
Experience Program
Global Experience is a teaching practicum
program for students enrolled in primary and secondaryteaching
courses. It offers you, as students, a diverse range of
experiences in educational settings beyond Victoria Australia.

Bachelor of Early
Childhood Education
Current Pre-School teachers who hold a 2 year
Diploma in Pre-School Teaching or its equivalent will be
able to complete the degree in 2 years, building on their
Diploma qualifications to gain a 4 year qualification. For 3 year
trained kindergarten teachers it will only take one year of
study.
Doctoral Scholarships
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is a supervised
research program. Your research will be conducted under the
supervision of a panel, which is chaired by the principal
supervisor who is a full-time member of staff experienced in
research. Other members of the panel may be internal or
external to Deakin University and will be appointed to assist the
principal supervisor.
Deakin University is offering 10 full tuition
fee scholarships for International Students
